First home game of the season
For the most part the Bellies looked pretty darned good tonight, and Tyler Richards, the new goalie, is so good. He blocked over 45 shots tonight and earned the first star of the game. And guess who's playing for the Burnaby Lakers. Kerry Susheski! I love watching him play, no matter whose side he's on. He got a couple of goals and an an assist for the Lakers this evening.Speaking of a couple of goals, my daughter (whose game I missed this evening) got two goals and two assists. She may be returning to her old ways of scoring only in my absence (or when I'm not looking).
Final score in the Senior Bellies' game: 9 to 6 for the Bellies. Final score in the Midget Girls' game: 15 (or more) for the Bellies, 1 for Delta.
